Testimonials
Tourism Ireland is delighted to work with so many wonderful industry partners across our various markets and marketing activities. Below is some of their feedback on collaborating with us on marketing activities.
Working with the experienced overseas publicity experts in Tourism Ireland, the Blue Book has managed to gain wonderful media coverage aboard. This has led directly to overseas visitors deciding to visit Ireland and selecting our hotels and country houses. The publicity teams in Tourism Ireland are invaluable partners for Ireland’s Blue Book.

Thanks to IMAP funding, I have been able to attend many international trade events such as PCMA Convening Leaders, IMEX Frankfurt, IBTM Barcelona and EVENTIT. Myself and the team at ICC Belfast are incredibly grateful for this generous support that has helped us to build back post pandemic and deliver on our ambitious targets. Attending these events has helped to build our sales pipeline with leads generated for 2023 right through to 2030. The IMAP team has been incredibly helpful in assisting with any queries throughout the application process and have made the entire experience seamless and straightforward.

Cookies Campers use industry opportunities to share seasonal offers on Ireland.com. We find it provides a steady flow of engaged ‘lookers’ to our website. Traffic from Ireland.com is much more engaged than other visitors and has a better conversion rate. Our “Stay for longer” promo, which rewarded customers for two-week stays, worked very well – particularly with European tourists who may not always plan to stay longer.

Tourism Ireland’s industry opportunities have been invaluable to the Causeway Hotel. As a property reliant on the international market, we simply could not sustain our business without platforms that help us reach and engage with global audiences. Initiatives we have joined have strengthened our visibility in key markets, opened new opportunities, and enabled us to build meaningful connections across the tourism sector, delivering commercial benefits.
Ireland Week in Milan offered a fantastic opportunity to showcase the hotel to the Italian market, engage with high-quality trade partners, and develop relationships that support future growth. We are grateful to Tourism Ireland and the Italian office for such a well-organised and productive platform.

Saint Patrick’s Cathedral has found Tourism Ireland’s industry opportunities highly valuable, particularly the digital packages, which have helped us reach new international markets in a targeted and impactful way. The B2B events have also been fantastic for connecting with tour operators we would not otherwise meet, opening conversations and partnerships that directly benefit our visitor strategy. Overall, both offerings have delivered strong returns by enhancing visibility and building important relationships within the industry.
