Tourism Ireland and Tourism Northern Ireland are delighted to announce the launch of Phase V of the Northern Ireland Industry Market Access Programme (NI IMAP), a cooperative programme aimed at supporting Northern Ireland industry’s overseas tourism recovery. NI IMAP VI supports in-person sales focussed Leisure and Tourism activity in key GB and European markets.
As part of Northern Ireland’s Tourism Recovery Action Plan, Tourism Ireland and Tourism Northern Ireland are together launching the NI IMAP V to support industry to undertake a programme of B2B, Consumer and MICE activities in international markets, to increase overseas visitors to Northern Ireland.
This initiative is a cooperative programme that supports qualified industry to get back to overseas markets as soon as possible and drive recovery for their business via agreed sales focussed activity. It remains the cornerstone of the industry element of the Northern Ireland recovery plan from both agencies. Since the IMAP launched in July 2021, Tourism Ireland and Tourism Northern Ireland supported industry to undertake activities internationally, approving applications with a total value of est. €1.93M/ £1.66M.
