Tourism Ireland showcases Ireland as a luxury and experiential travel destination at PURE Life Experiences

Ashford Castle and Ballyfin Demesne join Tourism Ireland to connect with top international travel buyers and media in Marrakesh

Tourism Ireland highlighted the island of Ireland as a premier destination for luxury and experiential travel at the recent PURE Life Experiences in Marrakesh – a prestigious travel event which combines formal business appointments with networking opportunities. Experiential tourism invites travellers to immerse themselves in authentic and meaningful experiences when visiting a destination, connecting more deeply with the destination’s culture and people. Ashford Castle and Ballyfin Demesne joined Tourism Ireland at the event.

The three-day event was attended by international luxury travel buyers and tour operators, as well as travel journalists representing major international publications such as Condé Nast Traveler and Travel + Leisure. The event was an excellent platform to position the island of Ireland as a top destination for luxury and experiential travel.

David Boyce, Tourism Ireland’s Head of Business Events and Luxury, said:“PURE Life Experiences was an excellent platform to showcase the island of Ireland as a superb destination for luxury and experiential travel – positioning Ireland as a destination that offers not only stunning landscapes and heritage, but authentic and high-quality travel experiences that allow travellers to create a deeper connection with the local communities they visit.

“The format of bespoke one-to-one appointments and informal networking provided a valuable opportunity to meet, and connect with, the international luxury travel buyers, global tour operators and travel journalists in attendance – ensuring Ireland is ‘top of mind’ for them when they’re recommending destinations to their clients and sharing travel inspiration with their readers.”
