1.5 million across GB to read why Northern Ireland is a ‘must visit’ destination
Top GB travel journalists – writing for print and online outlets with a combined reach of around 1.5 million readers – have been visiting Northern Ireland this week, as guests of Tourism Ireland and Tourism NI.
The group enjoyed a glass workshop at The Boat House Gallery and Studio in Bushmills, a jewellery-making class at Gobbins Crafts, ‘The Sheep Experience’ at Dunfin Farm and a whiskey tasting experience at The Harbourview Hotel. They also visited some of the Causeway Coastal Route’s popular scenic attractions including the Giant’s Causeway, Glenariff Forest Park and The Gobbins.
Julie Wakley, Tourism Ireland’s Head of GB, said: “Tourism Ireland is delighted to invite these influential GB journalists to discover first-hand the amazing experiences on offer along the Causeway Coastal Route.
