Spotlight on Ireland in the Netherlands

Promoting the island of Ireland to top Dutch and Belgian travel professionals

Tourism businesses from the island of Ireland are in Utrecht this week, taking part in Tourism Ireland’s first promotion of 2026 in the Netherlands. They are attending Travel Trade Days – a two-day B2B event involving a programme of bespoke one-to-one appointments and networking sessions with Dutch and Belgian travel professionals.

The Travel Trade Days event offers an excellent opportunity for the four participating tourism businesses from Ireland to connect and do business with the travel professionals in attendance – encouraging them to include Ireland in their programmes for 2026 and beyond, or to extend the programmes in which Ireland already features.

Karen van der Horst, Tourism Ireland’s Manager for Northern Europe, said:“Tourism Ireland is delighted to attend Travel Trade Days in Utrecht. This two-day event provides a valuable opportunity to connect tourism businesses from the island of Ireland with our key Dutch and Belgian travel trade contacts who can bring visitors at scale in 2026 and beyond.”
