Spanish travel agents explore Northern Ireland

Ten top-producing Spanish travel agents, from the leading travel company TUI, have been exploring Northern Ireland – as guests of Tourism Ireland, Tourism NI and Aer Lingus.

The aim of the travel agents’ visit is to familiarise them with our superb tourism offering, so that when they return home, they will be better informed and more enthusiastic than ever when advising their clients about planning and booking their holidays here.

The group’s itinerary included Hillsborough Castle and Gardens, Titanic Belfast, Titanic Distillers and a walking food tour with Taste and Tour, followed by a coach tour of Belfast city. The agents also made site visits to new hotels Moxy Belfast City and The Bedford Hotel. The Giant’s Causeway, The Chocolate Manor, a walking tour of Derry-Londonderry, Guildhall, Peacemakers Museum, Bakehouse NI and the Ulster American Folk Park also featured on their busy programme.

Susan Bolger, Tourism Ireland’s Manager Spain, said: “We are delighted to invite this group of Spanish travel agents to Northern Ireland. Their visit is an excellent opportunity to showcase our amazing tourism offering, including our superb visitor attractions, food and scenery. Our aim is that the travel agents will be more enthusiastic than ever about the destination when they return home – helping to secure a greater share of their business for Northern Ireland in 2026 and beyond.”
