Niall Horan and Lewis Capaldi front new Tourism Ireland video

Tourism Ireland has teamed up with Niall Horan and Lewis Capaldi in its latest video to promote the island of Ireland.

Incorporating footage from the documentary Niall Horan’s Homecoming: The Road to Mullingar with Lewis Capaldi – which is now available to view on Prime Video – the video features the singers describing “what fills their hearts with Ireland”. It highlights some of our top attractions, including Titanic Belfast and the Guinness Storehouse. Both Niall and Lewis share their favourite moments and experiences while filming for the documentary here and they encourage viewers to come and visit.

The video is being highlighted via Tourism Ireland’s social media platforms – including Facebook (over 4.7 million fans worldwide), Twitter (556,000 followers) and Instagram (over 1.1 million followers).

Niall Gibbons, Chief Executive of Tourism Ireland, said: “Tourism Ireland is delighted to share our latest video, starring Niall Horan and Lewis Capaldi describing some of their favourite moments and experiences on the island of Ireland. It’s a great way to shine a spotlight on our world-class visitor attractions, our spectacular scenery and vibrant music scene. We hope that the video will inspire viewers to follow in Niall’s and Lewis’ footsteps and come and visit Ireland in 2023.”

In the video, Niall Horan says: “What fills my heart about Ireland? Well, it's home to me obviously. The older I've gotten, the more it's become a part of me. The music, culture, our welcoming nature. You get very proud when you travel, that's what I've noticed.”

Lewis Capaldi ends the video, saying: “Visit Ireland, for it's the country of good times and smiles.”
