Leading German journalists experience Ireland’s spiritual and wellness offering

3+ million Germans to read all about Ireland

Seven journalists from Germany, with a combined audience of around 3 million, have been exploring Ireland, as guests of Tourism Ireland and Fáilte Ireland.

The journalists – representing various print and online publications – followed a bespoke itinerary showcasing some of the spiritual and wellness experiences that Ireland has to offer. Their itinerary included guided tours of Brú na Bóinne, the Hill of Tara, Slieve na Calliagh and The Hill of Uisneach, as well as a mythology trail with Nourished in Nature to the summit of Knocknarea Mountain. The journalists attended the Wild & Well Festival in Annaghmore House, which included a Nourishing Yoga & Qigong Flow and an Ecstatic Shamanic Journey. They also enjoyed a visit to Neantóg Farm and a seaweed bath at Enniscrone Seaweed Baths.

Nadine Lehmann, Tourism Ireland’s Manager Germany, said:“We were delighted to invite this group of influential German journalists to visit Ireland. There is no better way to truly appreciate what Ireland has to offer than by experiencing our spiritual and wellness experiences first-hand. The journalists will inspire their audiences across Germany to come and enjoy these experiences and our rich heritage for themselves, via the articles and content they produce and share.”
