Italian travel agents explore Northern Ireland

A leading Italian tour operator, Cocktail Viaggi, and ten of its top-producing travel agents, have been visiting Northern Ireland, as guests of Tourism Ireland and Tourism NI.

The group’s action-packed itinerary was designed to showcase the high standard and variety of our tourism offering – from world-famous landmarks to immersive cultural experiences – and to inspire new additions to their travel programmes for 2026 and beyond. The travel agents visited Titanic Belfast and Titanic Distillers, before heading to the North Coast to see the Giant’s Causeway and Dunluce Castle. Then it was on to Derry-Londonderry, where the group toured the walls with McCrossan Walking Tours and visited the Peacemakers Museum, before making their way to the Ulster American Folk Park in Omagh.

Marcella Ercolini, Tourism Ireland’s Manager for Italy, said: “Tourism Ireland was delighted to welcome Cocktail Viaggi and their top-performing travel agents to Northern Ireland, to find out more about our superb tourism offering. There is so much to experience here, from world-famous landmarks to our fantastic scenery and warm hospitality. Our aim is that when they return home, the travel agents will be even more enthusiastic about the destination, helping to secure a greater share of their business in 2026 and beyond.”
