Ireland’s world-class golf ‘to the fore’ at Invited Champions Classic in the United States

Tourism Ireland – together with four golf and tourism operators from the island of Ireland – is attending the Invited Champions Classic, an annual pro-am golf tournament which is taking place at Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina this week.

The event is an excellent opportunity to target a high value American audience, including private golf club members and business leaders with a strong interest in premium golf travel experiences. Over 300 people are taking part in the golf tournament – with the participating golf and tourism operators from Ireland networking and generating business leads for 2027 and beyond.

As well as showcasing our superb golf offering, Tourism Ireland is also reminding golfers that Adare Manor will host the Ryder Cup next year.

Aisling McDermott, Tourism Ireland’s Head of Global Partnerships, said:“The Invited Champions Classic is a fantastic opportunity to showcase our world-class golf to a high-net-worth American audience. This is just one element of Tourism Ireland’s busy promotional programme to encourage more golfers from around the globe to consider booking a holiday to Ireland.

“Our message is that the island of Ireland offers golfers the complete package, with some of the finest links and parkland courses in the world, spectacular scenery, exceptional hospitality and unique visitor experiences. With the countdown now on for the Ryder Cup at Adare Manor, events like these provide a powerful platform to inspire golfers to choose Ireland for their next golfing holiday.”
