Ireland’s luxury tourism experiences in the spotlight in Los Angeles
Promoting the island of Ireland to influential North American travel professionals
Five tourism companies from the island of Ireland have joined Tourism Ireland in Los Angeles this week for Connections Luxury Americas.
The three-day event, involving a programme of bespoke one-to-one appointments and networking, provides an excellent platform for the participating tourism businesses from Ireland to connect with over 250 influential luxury travel buyers from North America, many from the West Coast of the US, who bring valuable tourists to the island – ensuring Ireland is ‘top of mind’ for the buyers when recommending destinations to their clients. Around 500 commercial meetings are expected to take place over the three days.
Alison Metcalfe, Tourism Ireland’s Head of North America, said:“Our presence at this year’s Connections Luxury Americas in Los Angeles is another excellent platform to inspire influential North American luxury travel professionals about the island of Ireland. It’s a valuable opportunity for Tourism Ireland and our partners to connect and network with travel professionals who have the potential to bring high value tourists to the island – aligning with our ambition to deliver increased revenue and helping to secure a greater share of the buyers’ business for Ireland in 2026 and beyond.”
