Highlighting Ireland at luxury travel event in Madrid

Tourism Ireland promotes the island of Ireland to top global luxury travel buyers

Tourism Ireland, together with four tourism companies from the island of Ireland, is attending Emotions, a luxury travel event in Madrid this week.

The four-day event is attended by international luxury travel buyers and involves a programme of bespoke one-to-one appointments and networking sessions – providing an excellent opportunity for the tourism companies from Ireland to negotiate and secure luxury travel business for 2026 and beyond.

David Boyce, Tourism Ireland’s Head of Business Events and Luxury, said: “Emotions is an excellent platform to showcase the island of Ireland as a superb destination for luxury travel. Our boutique hotels, castles and luxury resorts, as well as our top visitor attractions and rich culture and heritage, and not forgetting our superb culinary experiences, make Ireland a fantastic choice for a luxury getaway.

“The format of bespoke one-to-one appointments and networking sessions provides a valuable opportunity to meet, and connect with, the high-end luxury travel buyers in attendance – ensuring Ireland is ‘top of mind’ for them when they’re recommending destinations to their clients.”
