GB golf journalists ‘putt’ Northern Ireland in the spotlight

1.8 million people in GB to discover why Northern Ireland is the perfect golfing destination

Tourism Ireland invited seven GB journalists and influencers, all with a special interest in golf, to visit Northern Ireland. They were here to play some of our best-loved courses, as well as to experience some of the many great activities and attractions for GB visitors to enjoy off the golf course. Their itinerary was designed by Tourism NI.

The group – which included journalists and influencers, as well a videographer – has a combined audience of over 1.8 million people. They began their visit with a round of golf on the Championship Links at Royal County Down Golf Club. They also played at Ardglass and Royal Belfast. Their visit included an e-bike experience at Castlewellan Forest Park, visits to Titanic Belfast and the Titanic Quarter, as well as a sightseeing tour of Belfast city.

The content they share with their readers and followers across GB will highlight the fact that Northern Ireland offers the complete package for golfers – with some of the very best golf in the world, as well as lots of great experiences and attractions. Their articles and posts will remind their readers and followers that Northern Ireland is the perfect destination for a golfing break.”
