Canadian travel professionals immerse themselves in the ‘Senses of Ireland’

Tourism Ireland promotes the island of Ireland in four key cities across Canada

Eleven (11) tourism companies from the island of Ireland, together with three Canadian tour operators, joined Tourism Ireland in Canada last week for its 2025 ‘Senses of Ireland’ roadshow – visiting the cities of Victoria, Kelowna, Edmonton and Ottawa.

During the week, the tourism companies from Ireland connected with over 200 Canadian travel professionals in the four cities, highlighting to them the wealth of experiences on offer for their clients on a holiday here – from luxury hotels to iconic cultural landmarks and, of course, our world-class hospitality and warm welcome.

The cities were selected as key locations which have the potential to grow tourism business from Canada to Ireland.

Sandra Moffatt, Tourism Ireland’s Manager Canada, said: “We are delighted that 11 tourism partners from the island of Ireland and three Canadian tour operators joined our 2025 ‘Senses of Ireland’ roadshow, to shine a spotlight on some of the superb tourism experiences on offer right around our island.

“Our roadshow provided our industry partners from Ireland with a fantastic platform to showcase their offering to over 200 influential Canadian travel professionals, helping to secure a greater share of their business in 2025 and beyond.”
