Promoting Ireland to influential North American travel professionals
Four tourism companies from the island of Ireland travelled to Arizona this week, to join Tourism Ireland at the annual Global Travel Marketplace West (GTM West).
GTM West is a three-day event, involving a programme of bespoke one-to-one appointments, ‘boardroom’ style sessions and networking opportunities. It offers an excellent opportunity for the tourism enterprises from Ireland to meet, and do business with, top-producing travel advisors from North America – ensuring the island of Ireland is ‘top of mind’ for them when recommending destinations to their clients.
Alison Metcalfe, Tourism Ireland’s Head of North America, said: “Our presence at this year’s GTM West in Arizona provides another excellent platform to highlight the many great things to see and do right around the island of Ireland to influential North American travel advisors. It’s a valuable opportunity for our partners from Ireland to showcase their product and connect with the North American travel advisors. Our message for those travel advisors is that the island of Ireland is open for business again and we cannot wait to welcome their clients back for a fantastic vacation experience.”
