The mayors of Greater Manchester and the Liverpool City Region are leading a delegation from each of their cities to Dublin this week, as part of a joint tourism and cultural mission aimed at strengthening links between the North-West of England and Ireland. Tourism Ireland hosted a networking event at the Guinness Storehouse on day one of the visit, which was attended by Irish tourism industry leaders. The event also included a question-and-answer session with football legend Denis Irwin.
