~ Showcasing Ireland at travel fair in Rimini ~
The island of Ireland is being promoted by Tourism Ireland to thousands of Italian travel professionals attending this week’s TTG Travel Experience in Rimini.
Five companies from Ireland and Italy are joining Tourism Ireland at TTG Travel Experience – an important three-day B2B travel exhibition which attracts influential tour operators, travel agents and leading Italian travel journalists and bloggers.
Marcella Ercolini, Tourism Ireland’s Manager Italy, said: “Tourism Ireland is delighted to be attending TTG Travel Experience in person once again this week. Interest in visiting the island of Ireland remains strong among Italian travellers and our presence at the show provides an excellent opportunity for our partners to spread the word about the many great things to see and do right around Ireland.”
Last month, Tourism Ireland kicked off its new ‘Green Button’ campaign in Italy. It’s a €450,000, multi-media promotional campaign, which will run until November 2021. The campaign aims to generate awareness of the island of Ireland and drive bookings for short breaks and holidays here, between now and the end of this year.
Marcella Ercolini continued: “We are rolling out our new ‘Green Button’ campaign in Italy right now, to re-start tourism and encourage Italian travellers to ‘press the Green Button’ and book the island of Ireland for their next holiday. Our key message is that we cannot wait to roll out the green carpet and welcome back our Italian visitors.”
