Targeting luxury and outdoor adventure tourism business for the island of Ireland

Tourism Ireland hosts Ireland Luxury and Outdoor Adventure Showcase in the US

Fourteen (14) tourism companies from around the island of Ireland are taking part in Tourism Ireland’s virtual Ireland Luxury and Outdoor Adventure Showcase – which kicks off today (28 July).

The two-day B2B showcase will see the participating tourism companies from Ireland connect with over 500 travel advisors from across the United States, via a series of meetings and interactive presentations.

Tourism Ireland aims to showcase our superb luxury and outdoor adventure tourism offering to these influential US travel professionals, to build anticipation for future trips and remind them about the many reasons for their clients to choose the island of Ireland.

Alison Metcalfe, Tourism Ireland’s Head of North America, said: “We are delighted that over 500 US travel advisors are taking the time to join us – and our partners from Ireland – for our two-day virtual Ireland Luxury and Outdoor Adventure Showcase. The participation of these influential travel advisors is a strong indication that there is really good interest in our luxury and outdoor adventure tourism offering – from our boutique hotels and luxury resorts, to our land and water-based activities like cycling, hiking and diving; and not forgetting our world-class golf and superb culinary scene. Our message for the US travel advisors is that we cannot wait to roll out the green carpet and welcome back their clients.”
