The island of Ireland welcomed a record 1.4 million visitors from the United States in 2016 and the first 9 months of 2017 has seen an increase of +19% in North American visitors to the Republic of Ireland. That is, an extra +214,000 additional visitors compared to the same period in 2016.
Results for the first six months of 2017 from the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) suggest that North American visitors to Northern Ireland grew by +8% compared to the same period in 2016.
