Recent results published by the Central Statistics Office (CSO) confirm that arrivals from Canada to Ireland grew by +16% in 2016 to over 222,000 – that’s more than 30,000 additional Canadian arrivals when compared to 2015.
Results for the first nine months of 2016 from the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) suggest that North American visitors to Northern Ireland grew by +13% to 1.5 million, when compared to the same period in 2015. No breakdown for Canadian visitors is currently available.
