Discover Belfast's Musical Heartbeat at Belfast TradFest

Running from 26 July to 2 August, Belfast TradFest has grown into one of the leading annual celebrations of traditional Irish music, song and dance in the world. With nearly 600 events, more than 1,000 artists and 40 venues across Belfast, the festival attracts visitors from across Ireland and beyond.

Music lovers can look forward to a stellar lineup of headline concerts, including performances from legendary Irish-American group Solas as they celebrate their 30th anniversary, alongside acclaimed acts such as Flook, Michael McGoldrick Big Band, Cherish the Ladies, and folk favourites Four Men and a Dog.

One of the festival's most distinctive highlights is the Titanic Céilí, a free outdoor celebration on Belfast's Maritime Mile featuring live céilí music, dance, maritime performers and family-friendly entertainment. Visitors looking for a more authentic local experience can follow the popular Dunville's Session Trail, where more than 400 musicians perform across Belfast's pubs and bars, turning the city into one giant traditional music session.

TradFest also hosts one of the world's largest traditional music summer schools, welcoming hundreds of students to learn from some of the finest musicians in the genre. For those who don't want the music to end, late-night performances at the Festival Club keep the celebrations going well into the evening
