Northern Ireland is the home of motorcycle road racing on closed public roads, and every May the stunning Causeway Coast plays host to one of the sport’s most spectacular events — the Briggs Equipment North West 200. Running from 4–9 May 2026, the NW200 is a totally immersive, high-adrenaline experience like no other.

The 2026 event is set to welcome a truly international grid. Riders from 20 countries , from Sweden to Australia, Finland to Italy and beyond will descend on the North Coast for a week of world-class action. Out of 117 competitors, an exciting 27 newcomers will take on the legendary Triangle Circuit for the very first time.

Fans will witness the world’s top road racers launch from the grid hitting over 200mph on the super fast 8.9-mile circuit linking Portrush, Portstewart and Coleraine. It’s a breathtaking experience of pure power, courage and skill.

2026 also marks an exciting new chapter with the introduction of the European Superbike Racing Road Race Championship (ESR), with the NW200 proudly included as a championship round. This new series brings together elite superbike riders from across Europe, raising the stakes even higher and adding another layer of competitive drama to Race Week.

The event attracts over 100,000 visitors annually and offers much more than racing. With two days of practice, two full race days, nine races across four classes, evening entertainment, concerts, fireworks, paddock access, grandstands, VIP hospitality and a buzzing festival atmosphere, the NW200 is a must-see experience.

Whether you're watching from your favourite roadside viewpoint, relaxing in the grandstand, soaking up the atmosphere in the FanZone or discovering the many attractions along the Causeway Coast, the Briggs Equipment North West 200 promises an unforgettable week of speed, spectacle and world‑class sporting talent.

And when the racing pauses, some places invite you to slow down - like the breathtaking Causeway Coastal Route. Tracing Ireland’s rugged northern shoreline between Belfast and Derry~Londonderry, this iconic journey blends dramatic geology, pristine beaches and exhilarating clifftop walks. The views are truly inspiring: vast Atlantic horizons, rolling green glens, natural sea arches and golden, sheltered coves.

When it comes to epic adventures, nowhere does it better. From the legendary Giant’s Causeway to the haunting beauty of Dunluce Castle and the thrill of the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, the Causeway Coast delivers one showstopper after another.
