Dertour Deluxe is the luxury brand of DERTOUR and part of DER Touristik, the second largest Tour Operator in Germany and the market leader for travel to Ireland and as well part of the REWE group. Their portfolio only consists of 5 star+ properties along with VIP experiences.
Dertour Deluxe is the leading luxury tour operator in the German market. They *only* feature 5* hotels which are carefully selected (globally) and chosen by the Head of Product team .
DERTOUR Deluxe also has its own in house concierge service for VIP requests from travel agencies. They have built up years of strong affiliations and relationships with luxury travel agencies all over Germany.
As a destination, Ireland has not featured in the Dertour Deluxe program previously. This is an inaugural venture for them and a wonderful opportunity for Irish luxury industry to avail of this opportunity.
In addition to the brochure edition (150,000 copies for 2023-24), they predict a high level of interest from luxury trade press with the announcement of an Ireland program.
If chosen, each hotel will be featured on a minimum full page. It is important to note that Dertour Deluxe will have the final decision on who is included in the program.
As part of this opportunity, Tourism Ireland plans a special marketing package after the new brochure is launched in July 2024 which will include travel agency trainings in person, FAM opportunities and a special communication plan in conjunction to the rollout of the new Tourism Ireland luxury proposition.
