The objective of the Belfast Music Showcase is to promote the City of Belfast’s UNESCO City of Music accreditation with a series of events in both Boston and New York City. The delegation from Belfast (Belfast City Council, performers/artists, government delegates) plans to arrive in Boston on 19 February and depart from NY on 25 February. For the purposes of international flights, attending industry partners should plan to be in Boston latest by 20 February (Monday) and can plan to depart NYC on 24 February (Friday).
Price: £750 (not including VAT)
The participation fee includes attendance at all events organised by TI in Boston & NYC.
The participation fee does not include:
• Partners must book & pay for their own international flights from Ireland (the event starts in Boston & ends in NYC)
• Amtrak train ticket OR airfare from Boston to NYC
• Accommodation in both Boston & NYC (TI will negotiate rates & room blocks)
• Other T&S outside of the Boston & NYC events

The events in both Boston and New York City will follow similar formats. It will kick off with a roundtable networking session where industry partners will interact with key travel trade and travel media (50-60 people) from each of those cities in a workshop format. This afternoon roundtable networking will be roughly from 4-5:30pm.
From the roundtable networking, the attendees will then transition to a cocktail reception where they will be joined by 40 additional attendees (100 attendees total) for remarks and a quick presentation from the City of Belfast and Tourism Ireland.
The cocktail reception will then transition to the evening Belfast Music Showcase, which will be a 45-minute show programme from 7-7:45pm.
After the music showcase, there will be a post-showcase reception.
