20,000 Dutch golfers read all about golfing in Kildare and Meath
Some 20,000 readers of Golfers Magazine
in the Netherlands are reading all about golfing in Kildare and Meath this month. The September edition of the popular golfing magazine includes an article profiling The K Club and Carton House in Co Kildare, as well as Killeen Castle in Co Meath.
Tourism Ireland in Amsterdam, in conjunction with Fáilte Ireland and The K Club, invited journalist Edwin Ammerlaan to visit in July 2019. The resulting article appears under the headline “Ierland Parkland”
and highlights some of our fantastic inland golf courses. The article includes lots of great photos of The K Club and Killeen Castle, as well as the Montgomerie course at Carton House.
Karen van der Horst, Tourism Ireland’s Manager for the Netherlands, said: “We are delighted with the excellent coverage in this month’s edition of Golfers Magazine. At a time when international visitors cannot travel to Ireland, Edwin Ammerlaan’s article will be read by around 20,000 Dutch golfers – so it’s a great way of keeping Ireland to the fore in the Netherlands. We look forward to welcoming Dutch visitors to the island of Ireland, as soon as the time is right.”
