The annual two-day event provided an excellent platform to showcase some of our superb soft adventure and outdoor activities to potential US holidaymakers, as well as to US travel advisors, lifestyle and travel journalists and influencers.
Alison Metcalfe, Tourism Ireland’s Head of North America and Australia, said: “Our presence at the Travel & Adventure Show in Washington DC was an excellent opportunity to spread the word about the many great things to see and do in Ireland, including our outdoor activities and soft adventure, and to encourage US holidaymakers to put the island of Ireland on their vacation ‘wish-list’ for 2020.”
Tourism Ireland will prioritise North America once again in 2020, as a market which offers a strong return on investment, in terms of holiday visitors and expenditure.
