Armagh is ‘apple of the eye’ for international journalists

~ 3 million people around the world in the Netherlands, Sweden and India to read all about Northern Ireland’s superb food and drink ~

Food enthusiasts in the Netherlands, Sweden and India will soon be reading all about the wonderful food and drink on offer around Northern Ireland – following a visit by top culinary and lifestyle journalists, who have been visiting as guests of Tourism Ireland and Tourism NI.
The journalists were here on a fact-finding visit – researching articles about Northern Ireland and the culinary experience on offer here for international visitors, which will appear in a range of print and online publications with a combined audience of around three million readers.
The group’s busy itinerary included a visit to the Armagh Food and Cider Festival, where they toured the orchards and sampled some Armagh Bramley apple and ciders.  They took in a ‘Taste and Tour’ around Belfast, visited St George’s market and the Hillstown Brewery and also enjoyed the Causeway Coast Foodie Tours’ ‘Catch and Sea’ experience from Portrush Harbour.
