“We are delighted that Minister Creed was with us in Madrid, to help us deliver the message about the many great reasons to visit the island of Ireland this year,” said Barbara Wood, Tourism Ireland’s Manager Spain. “In 2018, we welcomed around 443,000 Spanish arrivals to Ireland. We are also rolling out a number of co-operative campaigns with key partners like Aer Lingus, Ryanair, Iberia Express and Logitravel.”

Activity in conjunction with key partners includes a digital and outdoor campaign with Aer Lingus – highlighting flights from Barcelona to Cork and from Madrid and Barcelona to Dublin. A joint campaign with Iberia Express during April and May will highlight its Madrid to Cork route, through outdoor ads, digital ads and email marketing.
