~ Spanish travel agents discover Northern Ireland ~
A Spanish tour operator, Catai, and some of its top-producing travel agents, have been visiting Northern Ireland this week – as guests of Tourism Ireland and Tourism NI.
The visiting group undertook an action-packed fact-finding visit, which included Titanic Belfast and a drive along the Causeway Coastal Route. They also enjoyed a walking tour of Derry’s historic walls and visits to the Guildhall, Museum of Free Derry and the Walled City Brewery.
“Tourism Ireland was delighted to invite these Spanish travel agents to visit Northern Ireland,”
said Barbara Wood, Tourism Ireland’s Manager Spain. “We believe it is extremely important for travel professionals such as these to experience for themselves the high standard of our tourism offering and the many things to see and do here, so they are really enthusiastic about the destination and better equipped to advise their clients on their travel plans.”
