Two Irish cities will be celebrating their Viking past this Easter weekend – Dublin with the Dublinia Viking Fest and Waterford with its first ever Viking Festival.
Tourism Ireland’s latest video – titled "Ireland’s Viking Story" – was created to give potential visitors a flavour of both events. It is encouraging people everywhere to follow the Vikings to 21st century Ireland, to discover two ancient cities celebrating their Viking legacy.
The film is being promoted to potential visitors and fans of Ireland through Tourism Ireland’s social platforms, including Facebook (around 4.2 million fans worldwide), Twitter (482,000 followers) and YouTube
