Foaling and lambing season, great festivals and the promise of longer days! Online film highlights why Ireland is a good choice for a spring break
Crisp mornings and sun-filled blue skies are just two of the many reasons that make the island of Ireland the perfect place to visit between March and June! Tourism Ireland’s new online film celebrates foaling and lambing season across the island, the buzzing festivals that bring people together (including St Patrick’s Day), the promise of longer days and springtime walking festivals.
Titled "Spring in Ireland", the video was created to give potential visitors a glimpse of what Ireland has to offer in spring. It urges people everywhere to ‘press play’ and check out why they shouldn’t leave a visit to Ireland for just the summer!
The film will be promoted to potential visitors and fans of Ireland through Tourism Ireland’s social platforms, including Facebook (around 4.2 million fans worldwide), Twitter (476,000 followers) and YouTube
