Vibrant shop fronts, friendly locals and fabulous festivals … Tourism Ireland highlights Galway to prospective international visitors
Tourism Ireland has created a new online film to highlight some of the many wonderful festivals and attractions our international visitors can enjoy in Galway.
Titled "Top Things to do in Galway", the video gives potential visitors a taste of the city’s fascinating history and amazing attractions. It features places like the Spanish Arch, Salthill and Galway City Museum, as well as the Galway Races, Galway International Oyster and Seafood Festival and Kai Café and Restaurant.
Tourism Ireland is encouraging people everywhere to come and discover Galway’s culinary delights, medieval marvels and world-famous festivals – all located at the heart of the Wild Atlantic Way! Tourism Ireland’s message is that with its picturesque coastline, rich heritage and buzzing atmosphere, this city has everything a traveller could wish for.
The film is being promoted through Tourism Ireland’s social platforms, including Facebook (more than 4.26 million fans worldwide), Twitter (498,000 followers) and YouTube
