Representatives of the tourism industry in Sligo and the Wild Atlantic Way visited Brussels, to promote the designation of Sligo as European Volunteering Capital in 2017. Tourism interests, Fáilte Ireland, Tourism Ireland and MEP Marian Harkin worked together to create a well-attended event in the European Parliament in Brussels.
