Tourism Ireland has created a new online film showcasing some of our world-class golf courses, as well as the wonderful things that golfers can get up to off the course.
Titled "Golf on the island of Ireland", the video invites potential visitors to come and discover our beautiful golf courses, challenging links and wonderful off-course activities right around the island of Ireland. From Royal Portrush on the Causeway Coastal Route, home of The Open 2019, to the immaculate links of Lahinch and the masterful fairways of Portmarnock, the film reminds golfers everywhere that golf on the island of Ireland is a delight. It also features courses like Portstewart, Waterville, Lahinch, Royal County Down and Druid’s Glen. The message is that golf in Ireland is an experience, both on and off the course.
The film is being promoted through Tourism Ireland’s social platforms, including Facebook (over 3.9 million fans worldwide), Twitter (403,000 followers) and YouTube
