Promoting Northern Ireland and our GoT filming locations in the United States

With season 7 of Game of Thrones® now well under way, Tourism Ireland’s brand new campaign to showcase Northern Ireland to millions of fans is rolling out around the world. To complement the global campaign, Tourism Ireland in the US is undertaking some additional promotions – to remind Americans that Northern Ireland is one of the main filming locations for Game of Thrones®, with numerous unforgettable set locations.

Tourism Ireland has teamed up with The Hollywood Reporter, for the duration of season 7 of Game of Thrones®. The Hollywood Reporter is a hugely popular online magazine which carries all the latest news from the world of TV and movies and Tourism Ireland’s online ads are running on the site around the various reports and news about the hit TV show – highlighting Northern Ireland to the fans searching online for the articles and linking to the special Game of Thrones® section on Tourism Ireland’s international website, Ireland.com.
