Tourism Ireland warmly welcomes the announcement by Swiss Air of a new flight from Zurich to Cork for next year. The new service will operate from June to September and will certainly provide a welcome boost for tourism from Switzerland to Cork and the South West of Ireland in 2017.

As an island destination, the importance of convenient, direct, non-stop flights cannot be overstated – they are absolutely critical to achieving growth in inbound tourism.”
