Tourism Ireland puts Game of Thrones® fans to the test!

Do you know your King’s Landing from your Kingsroad? Tourism Ireland’s new online GoT quiz will test fans knowledge!

Northern Ireland’s mountains, castles and shorelines serve as the perfect backdrop to portray The Seven Kingdoms of Westeros – and now Tourism Ireland is putting Game of Thrones® fans to the test with its new online quiz.

The quiz – “6 filming locations only true Game of Thrones® fans will recognise” – has been specially created by Tourism Ireland to highlight Northern Ireland and its strong connection with the hugely popular HBO drama. It asks fans which of the images featured are real filming locations and which are simply stunning Northern Ireland landscapes!

Tourism Ireland’s hugely successful 2016 Game of Thrones® campaign, created in partnership with HBO, has just finished. It’s been promoting Northern Ireland to millions of the show’s fans worldwide since season six began back in April.

It’s been designed to encourage them to come and discover the real world Westeros, to see the spectacular mountains, lakes and coastline of Northern Ireland and to follow in the footsteps of their favourite villains and heroes!”
