Strengthening business links between California and Ireland

Members of the California Legislative Irish Caucus are visiting Dublin this week. Tourism Ireland hosted a welcome reception for the group, which was also attended by leading representatives of the tourism industry. After New York, California is now the largest source of American visitors for the island of Ireland. And, with three direct flights from California to Dublin (Aer Lingus flights from San Francisco and Los Angeles and an Ethiopian Airlines service from LA), links between California and Ireland have never been closer.

Finbar Hill, Honorary Consul General of Ireland, Los Angeles; Assemblyman Bill Brough, Co-Chair of the California Legislative Irish Caucus; Patrick O’Donovan TD, Minister of State for Tourism and Sport; and Niall Gibbons, CEO of Tourism Ireland, at a welcome reception in Dublin for the California Legislative Irish Caucus.
