Tourism Ireland warmly welcomes the announcement by Qatar Airways of a new flight from Doha to Dublin for next year. The new, direct, non-stop daily service will commence on 12 June 2017 and will certainly provide a welcome boost for tourism from Qatar and the Middle East to Dublin and the island of Ireland.
Niall Gibbons, CEO of Tourism Ireland, said: “The announcement of a new Qatar Airways flight from Doha to Dublin is excellent news for Irish tourism in 2017 and will certainly expand travel options for holidaymakers and business travellers from Qatar and the Middle East wishing to visit Dublin and the island of Ireland. As an island destination, the importance of convenient, direct, non-stop flights cannot be overstated – they are absolutely critical to achieving growth in inbound tourism.”
