Boxing legend Barry McGuigan joins Northern Ireland athletes as Commonwealth Games kick off
Some of Northern Ireland’s Commonwealth Games athletes joined boxing legend Barry McGuigan at an event in Glasgow last night, organised by Tourism Ireland and Northern Irish Connections to highlight Northern Ireland as a great place for business, short breaks and holidays.
The event, which was timed to coincide with the opening of the Commonwealth Games this week, was attended by Scottish business leaders, as well as leading travel trade and media contacts. It was organised to encourage them to take advantage of our close proximity to Glasgow.
