Throughout 2016, Tourism Ireland is promoting Northern Ireland as a destination for some of the best food, drink and hospitality on offer for visitors anywhere. We are taking every opportunity to showcase Northern Ireland food and drink across the world, whetting the appetite of more tourists to come visit and ‘take a bite out of Northern Ireland’.
Our 2016 campaign is being rolled out in Great Britain, North America, Mainland Europe, Australia and emerging markets. It showcases Northern Ireland’s unique food and drink experiences and Belfast’s innovative foodie scene as well as highlighting holidays and city breaks.
Promotions overseas include a drive to engage with bloggers and food media – including our collaboration with Jamie Oliver’s Food Tube (22 million monthly viewers), extensive online advertising, social media and a busy programme of publicity in key markets.
