“Greening” New York & Washington: The Empire State Building and the White House Fountain go green  for St Parick's Day
Chicago:  The Willis Tower, the Merchandise Mart, Chicago River and the Daley Plaza fountains all went green to celebrate St. Patrick's Day

NBC TV: NBC broadcast the New York’s St Patrick's Day Parade live and included inserts from Ballyknocken House, the St. Patrick’s Centre, the Cliffs of Moher Centre and Limerick City in the broadcast

St Patrick's Promotion at JFK Airport: Tourism Ireland, Jet Blue and Aer Lingus hosted a two-day celebration of Irish culture at JFK’s Terminal 5 featuring singer Julie Feeney and local Irish dancers
Ireland in lights - Ireland was promoted in Times Square and on the Las Vegas strip on St. Patrick’s Day

Front page news:  In the top ten of global news sites, with 25 million unique visitors per month, The Huffington Post took part in the St Patrick’s parade in Dublin.  Journalist Charles Karel Bouley helped to lead the parade in the international media bus, and his subsequent article showcased the island of Ireland on The Huffington Post front page click here to read the article

 Publicity campaign reaches an audience of over 200 million: Tourism Ireland and partners gave more than 100 interviews across radio, TV, print and online media to an audience of more than 200 million.
CBS Radio, The Los Angeles Times and AAA magazine were among 11,000 media outlets nationwide who received Tourism Ireland travel videos in the run up to St Patrick's Day. A special ‘Who is St. Patrick’ video, narrated by Dr. Tim Campbell, was embedded on key websites and video portals with an audience reach of over 30 million.
NBC "Nonstop Great Getaways" anchor David Mulligan took part in Dublin's St Patrick’s parade and is spending 10 days touring the island of Ireland gathering footage for a 30 minute travel feature which will broadcast in 9 key gateway cities on the NBC Nonstop network in May.
CBS radio:  Travel ‘guru’ Peter Greenberg, host of the CBS radio show Peter Greenberg Worldwide, broadcast from Dublin to an audience of over 3 million across the US on St Patrick's Day.

NBC Today Show - Seven million viewers of top US morning TV programme, NBC’s The Today Show, tuned in to chef Catherine Fulvio of Ballyknocken House on 17 March.  Catherine was also interviewed by the New York Post, Chicago Hammond Times, Washington Life, Washington Examiner and others.



Mega Business-to-Business Sales Blitz:  Our 2011 series of sales blitzes in the US kicked off in Boston and Chicago with a programme of B2B events which included sales calls, trade and consumer promotions and media networking.  Industry partners participating in the events met with over 200 key travel trade partners who were targeted at the recent 'Experience a Flavor of Ireland' event.
