Great Britain is the largest single source market for visitors to the island of Ireland. It provides almost 54% of visitors to the island of Ireland (49% of visitors to the South and 72% to Northern Ireland). In 2007, it delivered a total of €1.7bn in overseas tourism revenue and 4.92 million visitors.
