MARKETING DRIVE WITH
AIR AND SEA CARRIERS
Earlier this year, Tourism Minister Arlene Foster announced a special £2
million access initiative for GB, Mainland Europe and North America, to
maximise inbound seat and ferry capacity during this special year of
ni2012. As a result, Tourism Ireland and a range of air and sea carriers
have undertaken extensive co-operative marketing campaigns highlighting
ease of access, competitive fares and the great range of festivals and events
taking place around Northern Ireland this year. Some highlights have
included co-operative promotions with easyJet, United, Ryanair, Aer
Lingus, Flybe, Jet2, Stena Line and P&O Irish Sea.
