Markets Division

The Markets Division develops and implements overseas marketing plans in Great Britain, North America, Mainland Europe and in New & Developing Markets across the world.  Tourism Ireland teams in 14 market offices and representatives in a further 10 market areas carry out comprehensive programmes of activity designed to inspire and motivate overseas consumers to choose the island of Ireland for a holiday. 

The division includes the Co-operative Marketing team, formed in 2009, which is responsible for managing Tourism Ireland’s interaction and co-operative investment with industry partners, and for overseas publicity which co-ordinates extensive in-marketing publicity programmes – a key tool being media visits to the island of Ireland.
