Tourism Ireland Departments
The following departments within Tourism Ireland support the organisation objectives at home and overseas.
The Strategy Development and Insights department helps shape Tourism Ireland’s strategic direction and carries out research and analysis on market trends and consumer behaviour in markets across the world.
The Consumer Response and Technology department manages a range of consumer services including the contact centre, print and publishing, central direct marketing, global distribution and information
communications technology development and support services.
The eMarketing department works with both Tourism Ireland marketing teams overseas and industry suppliers to harness the growing influence of the internet for researching and booking holidays on the island of Ireland. The department manages Tourism Ireland’s suite of 35 websites, in 14 languages, across 27 markets.
The Marketing Communications department manages the island of Ireland Tourism Brand and manages our global advertising and in-market publicity campaigns in order to promote the island of Ireland as a compelling tourist destination around the world.
The Northern Ireland and Access Development department focuses on achieving additional growth for Northern Ireland to assist it in realising its tourism potential. The department also works with carriers to devise cooperative marketing programmes to boost demand for new and existing air and sea services to the island of Ireland.
The Regional Marketing department works to achieve a better spread of tourism business across the regions of the south by undertaking additional marketing activity for the Ireland East & Dublin, Ireland South and Ireland’s Western Regions.
The Corporate & Industry Communications department is responsible for communicating with the tourist industry and other stakeholders on the island of Ireland to develop their understanding of Tourism Ireland’s role in, and contribution to, tourism.
The Finance department monitors and tracks financial and management information and provides support to all of Tourism Ireland’s overseas market and Ireland-based offices.
The Human Resources department is responsible for HR management across all markets and teams in Coleraine and Dublin.
