Tourism Ireland - Our Organisation
Tourism Ireland’s Board of Directors is appointed by the North/South Ministerial Council and represents tourist industry interests on the island of Ireland.
Niall Gibbons was appointed Chief Executive of Tourism Ireland in June 2009. He previously held the role of Director of Corporate Services and Company Secretary of Tourism Ireland. Prior to his appointment to Tourism Ireland in 2002 he held senior roles in the private and public sector. He is a business graduate of Trinity College, Dublin and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
