Vakantiebeurs is the largest holiday promotion in the Benelux region, attracting over 135,000 visitors each year, including leading travel media, tour operators and travel agents, as well as many thousands of potential Dutch holidaymakers looking for ideas and suggestions for their next short break or holiday destination.

Tourism Ireland has a comprehensive promotional programme in place in the Netherlands for 2010, particularly in the run-up to and during St Patrick’s Day, capitalising on Ireland’s heightened profile to showcase the uniqueness of a holiday here.  A range of campaigns will highlight the great value on offer as well as compelling reasons to visit.  The message in the Netherlands is that there has never been a better time to visit the island of Ireland.
