VISMA attracts about 21,000 visitors each year, including travel agents and tour operators who specialise in angling holidays, as well as many thousands of Dutch fishing enthusiasts and potential holidaymakers looking for ideas and suggestions for their next fishing break or holiday destination.

Tourism Ireland has a strong promotional programme in place in the Netherlands in 2010, highlighting the island of Ireland as a fantastic holiday destination. Tourism Ireland is placing significant emphasis on value for money, to drive home to Dutch consumers the message about the superb range of offers available around the island of Ireland.
