Thirty-seven influential golf writers from 16 different countries, including a number of journalists who travelled from far-flung markets like Australia, India, Japan, the United Arab Emirates and South Africa took part in the recent 2010 Tourism Ireland Media Golf Masters. The event, organised in conjunction with the Northern Ireland Tourist Board, was held at Royal Portrush Golf Club.
While they were here, the journalists also took part in various familiarisation or fact-finding trips around Northern Ireland, visiting Londonderry, Fermanagh and Co Down.
